We have a hot-water-bottle for a baby at the moment, her little body burning with fever. We dose her up with Calpol and like clockwork she is hot all over again four hours later. Our poor girl has lost her appetite, clamping her mouth shut and turning away from breast, bottle and Calpol spoon. We arrived at the 24 hours clinic at midnight last night to hear the words "she's fine" more than an hour later.
Also, this kid hates Calpol. WTF?! I thought every child loves Calpol. It's just the rules, right?! But no, she screams and writhes as we pour the pink syrupy good stuff into her mouth.
