I'm proud of my paid work/life balance. I actually suprised myself by feeling proud about earning money, but I recently realised that I am. I'm proud to be self employed and working on my own terms, which means I can spend most of my days with Ivy - doing unpaid but incredibly important work as her parent. I'm proud that we haven't had to pay for childcare ever, when I work Ivy is with Kwojo or one of the other special adults in her life, so I know she is having all of her needs met. Soon I will also be proud to be a qualified doula, and birth work will be included as my paid work (I *just* submitted my written case studies!). I am proud of the parent I am.
